Nah, you don't need to know anything coming in. That's why it's called training, right? We start with the basics - how to hold a wrench properly, safety stuff, what all those weird sounds mean.

If you can follow instructions and aren't afraid to get your hands dirty, you'll do fine. We've had students who never even changed their own oil become pretty good mechanics.

You'll get our completion certificate which is recognized by most shops in Ontario. Plus we help you prep for the government licensing exams.

Some courses also get you ready for ASE certification - that's the American stuff but lots of Canadian shops like it too. Makes you look more professional.

Starting out? Maybe $18-22 per hour. That's not bad for someone just learning. After a couple years and more training, you're looking at $25-35 per hour.

Yeah, totally. We got evening classes and weekend stuff for people who can't quit their day job yet. It takes longer but lots of people do it that way.

Online theory classes help too - you can study at home when you got time. Just the hands-on stuff needs to be done here at our shop.

For beginners, not much. We got all the big tools and equipment here. You'll need basic hand tools - wrenches, screwdrivers, that kind of stuff. Maybe $200-300 to start.

We give you a list of what to buy and where to get good deals. Don't go crazy buying expensive stuff right away - learn what you actually need first.
