WHO WE ARE
Hey there! We're a group of car enthusiasts from Thunder Bay who really love fixing cars and teaching others how to do it too. Started this whole thing because we think everyone should know their way around an engine, eh?
OUR STORY
So like, it all started when I was helping my dad fix our old pickup truck in the garage. I was maybe 13 or something, and I kept asking him tons of questions about how everything worked. He got kinda frustrated but also saw I was really into it, you know?
Then in high school, I took every shop class they had. Auto mechanics, welding, electrical stuff - basically anything where I could work with my hands. My teachers were pretty cool and let me stay after school to work on more projects.
After graduation, I went to community college for automotive technology. That's where I learned that knowing how to fix cars is one thing, but being able to teach others is totally different. Some of my classmates were struggling with stuff that seemed easy to me, so I started helping them out.
Fast forward a few years, and here we are! We've got this awesome shop in Thunder Bay where we teach people everything from basic maintenance to advanced engine work. It's pretty rad seeing someone change their first oil filter or diagnose their first electrical problem.
MISSION
Make car repair less scary and more accessible for regular people. Everyone should be able to do basic maintenance without getting ripped off at some shop.
